Hi guys and Gals! ( Bring your ice cleets) very slick out there!

First of all the ice is safe. We are looking at about 9 to 10 inches of safe ice. There will be a sand bag ramp for all the anglers to use. I fished the entire lake and found fish in the shallow water. I recommend a minow with a drop shot rig. I will be @ the registration area so please find me if you have any questions on fishing the lake. We caught a bunch a fish right off the dam. My partner Bill caught a 17 inch trout. I would recommend anyone catching a fish right off the start to get it to the weigh in and get on the board. My plan of attack would be to cruz the shorelines. Fish one big bait (2 inch brown tube) and one small bait (Lindy Ice Jig). The lake has been stocked over by the dam and the fish have not moved very far. The fish seem to be hugging the banks. We will be more than happy to help you guys in any way. Our most important concern is saftey! We will be down @ the lake @ 4:30 friday putting in the sand bag ramp. Anyone wanting to help is more than welcome. We are setting up at 7:00am on Saturday. I look forward to meeting all of you and having some fun! don't forget your sun screen.
