Dave Bryant
Dave Bryant is a managing member of Lake Ice USA, LLC. Dave is responsible for contacting industry professionals to Beta test new products, and marketing products utilizing video production and media relations. Dave also promotes new products at numerous fishing and sporting events and shows. Mr. Bryant will contribute to new fishing technology for novice anglers to the seasoned professional and incorporatetheir ideas into a viable product line.
Dave Bryant is a seasoned professional whose primary focus is directed towards Lake Trout. He also possesses vast experience in developing effective lures for Rainbow, Brown, and Brooke Trout as well as Walleye, Lake Perch and Northern Pike. Dave is an avid angler, hunter, outdoor enthusiast, Ultra marathon runner and a member of the National Ice Team Power Stick’s Pro Staff
Dave has found additional success in the radio and television production industry and has become very knowledgeable in video production. Dave has hosted the Colorado ESPN Outdoor Show on 560 KLZ in Denver and currently hosts a half-hour television show on the Altitude channel dedicated to ice fishing in Colorado and surrounding Rocky Mountain states. Dave, along with other guides and staff members at Lake Ice USA, can often be found at Bass Pro Shop’s Outdoor World in Denver conducting seminars and presentations. Dave also co-hosted Fans Outdoors in Denver, Colorado and is very involved with The Colorado Division of Wildlife Angler Education Program.
In addition to all of his other activities Dave finds time to write articles for various magazines and is a spokesperson at numerous sporting events and shows. Dave’s techniques for locating and landing giant Lake Trout “Lakers” either through the ice or on open water has earned him the respect of many professionals and brought him into the spotlight in western states fishing circles.
On occasion you’ll see Dave checking on his clients wearing ice skates as he was a linesman and referee for the American Frontier Hockey League for 15 years. There is no mountain that Dave won't climb, as he currently is training for the Leadville 100 trail race ( Race Across The Sky). He recently completed the Leadville 50 miler in 13 hours and has run several other Ultra Marathons. His TV Show will take you anywhere he wants to hike, run, barefoot into. Once you meet Dave you’ll become used to his constant smile, huge laugh and realize that here’s a man who truly loves to fish and readily shares his knowledge with all he meets. Dave considers ice fishing a family sport and promotes it wherever he can.
Biography:
Colorado Ice Fishing is simply one of the best things you will ever do. Dave grew up in the Vail area and went to school in northern Minnesota where he played hockey. Dave also officiated Ice Hockey in the Western junior League and has worked several Dallas Stars training camps in Colorado. If you don't find him on turquoise Lake you might see him running along the Lake getting ready for the Leadville 100 trail running race. It is one of the hardest courses in the world...due to a combination of altitude and terrain it is a but kicker. Anyone on the lake august 21th should keep an eye out for him.
